Somerset County Registry of Probate

The Somerset County Registry of Probate Court handles estates of deceased and missing persons, guardianship of incapacitated adults as well as minors, conservatorships of incapacitated adults as well as minors, trusts, legal name changes, adoptions as well as other family matters.

Records are recorded and viewable to the public from 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday at the Somerset Probate Office located in the Somerset County Courthouse. Our records date back to 1809 and are a wonderful resource for genealogy purposes.
