1. PLANNING:

(REQUIRED):

• Significant effort in the update and template conversion of the County Emergency Operations Plan (All Hazards). [Recommendation is 4 annexes per year.]

• Continue implementation of County Wide Homeland Security Terrorist Warning System (Colored Alert), using State of Maine Guidelines for County and Municipal Governments as well as All Hazards Response System. This is a Regional Approach to Communications Interoperability Improvement for an EMA ICS Radio System and Alert and Warning Notification.

• Continue re-staffing and training of vacant positions within the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to fit needs of Incident Command System (ICS) Interface and the integration of NIMIS into responses to all-hazard events.
